Because it instills a traditional and rural feeling, and because of its unique facilities, it brings a sense of modernity. Let us introduce to you the famous traditional Koomes of Matinabad Eco Resort.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What is a Hut?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Koome has long been used in the past. Primitive humans built the very first huts. Koome is a place that is built with traditional and local materials such as wood and straw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Usually, huts are used for temporary accommodation. For example, farmers built huts in their fields to rest and protect themselves from the sun. A traditional Koome is a relatively small and modest room. Since they can be easily made, people used them a lot throughout history.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">There are two types of huts in Matinabad Desert Eco Resort; one of them has a domed roof, and the other is a hut with a simple roof. In terms of facilities, Matinabad huts are divided into two categories: Twin and Traditional.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Features of Koome<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">As mentioned above, Koome is made of traditional materials and has a completely rural look. Koomes are usually made of reed, straw, grass, etc. Koome architecture is usually square or rectangular. Koome roofs may be different according to the weather and the type of rural architecture. In rainy places, the roof of the koome is made sloping so that the rain does not accumulate in it, in desert areas the roof of the koome may be dome-shaped or flat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">There are 13 huts with twin beds and another 8 traditional huts in the Matinabad Desert Eco Resort, totaling 21 huts that host tourists in this eco camp. The prices of the houses are very economical and provide suitable facilities and amenities. Maybe that&#8217;s why these traditional rooms are so popular.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Koome is divided into two categories, which are twin and traditional. In these rooms, there are facilities such as towels, sheets, shampoo, liquid soap, a hotel refrigerator, a hair dryer, a clothes hanger, and a mirror. The absence of television in these rooms is due to the preservation of its traditional and rural traits to induce the feeling of being in nature and away from technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Matinabad Desert Eco Resort huts have private toilets and bathrooms. To use the squat toilet, you must use the public toilet installed in Eco Camp. Also, in summer, a water cooler is used to cool the Koome space, and in winter, heaters, and <a href=\"https:\/\/matinabad.com\/en\/all-you-need-to-know-about-iranian-korsi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Korsi<\/a> (heated blankets) are installed in the rooms to escape from the cold desert night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Some koomes have a domed roof that bounces the sound inside and creates an interesting atmosphere, but others have a regular roof. You can consult with the reservation manager about choosing a room.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s the Difference Between a Traditional Koome and a Twin Koome?<\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">There is no significant difference between traditional koome and twin koome in terms of architecture and facilities. The only difference between these two is in sleeping on the floor and having a bed. There are two single beds with comfortable mattresses in the twin. The capacity of accepting a two-bed hut is 2 people with 1 extra person.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the traditional koome or floor beds, the capacity is 4 people. There are no beds in these huts, and soft and warm cotton mattresses in the old and grandmotherly style have been installed for the guests. Also, you can use a Korsi in Matinabad&#8217;s traditional huts in winter, which is not possible in the two-bed huts.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The location of the Koome<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The huts are located in the outer part of the Matinabad Complex, in other words, in the middle of the desert. These rooms were placed at a suitable distance from each other so that the peace and privacy of tourists and eco resort guests are fully
